Feeding Evaluation & Therapy
Feeding/eating evaluation and therapy services focus on understanding how your child’s history, skills, and routines are limiting intake and mealtime flexibility.
Focus of Intervention:
Assess and develop skills
Family-centered goals
Individualized strategies based on history, skills and goals
Increase confidence and mealtime flexibility
Avoidance & Behavior Challenges
Weekly sessions address childhood worries, avoidance, and behavior that interfere with everyday routines/quality of life. Intervention strategies combine caregiver coaching with CBT/ACT/behavior-based strategies to increase skills, confidence, independence, and resilience.
Focus of Intervention:
Caregiver support and coaching
Assess what leads to and maintains interfering behavior
Develop skills to minimize avoidance or interfering behavior
